The travel and tourism division was a natural offshoot of John’s Group’s endeavours in the transport sector. The company started out as a small travel agency selling outbound ticketing and handling small group tours.

Today it has evolved into a major destination management company (DMC) specialising in providing comprehensive services for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) sector. These include travel arrangements, local accommodation, car hire, travel insurance, tours, excursions and all other ancillary services.

Sunrays also organises programmes for inbound groups with special interest in the Maltese culture. Sunrays also represents and assists a variety of foreign European Tour Operators.
